5. Accreditation procedure

Journalists and media operators may apply for accreditation by compiling the form available at www.diocesiag.it, attaching a letter from the editor-in-chief of the publication, an identity document a clear, colour, passport-sized photo, and press card.

For journalists and media operators accredited to the Holy See Press Office, it will be sufficient to attach to the application EXCLUSIVELY a copy of the identity document and a clear, colour, passport-sized photo (it will not be necessary to send a letter from the editor-in-chief of the publication).

The deadline for accreditation applications is 27 June 2026, by 12.00, and acceptance will be communicated via email.

It will be possible to collect the accreditation badge in Lampedusa from 2 July 2026, at the Press Centre, from 9.00 to 13.00 and from 16.00 to 19.00.

6. Press Centre

On the day of the Holy Father’s visit to Lampedusa a Press Centre will be operative at “La Rotonda” Restaurant by the sea.
