The Prefecture of the Papal Household announces the following programme of the visit:

7.15 Departure by car from the Vatican

7.45 Departure from Ciampino Airport

9.00 Arrival at Lampedusa Airport

The following events are scheduled:

- stop at the Cemetery, with floral tribute on the tombs;

- stop at the “Porta d’Europa (“Door of Europe”);

- stop at the Favaloro Pier; blessing of the plaque dedicating the Pier to Pope Francis.

Greeting with some migrants.

10.30 Celebration of Holy Mass

The image of Our Lady of Portosalvo will be displayed onstage.

- At the end of Mass, greeting with the authorities, ill children, volunteers.

12.30 Departure from Lampedusa

13.45 Arrival at Ciampino Airport.
