Vatican City, 30 March 2016 – The Pontifical Biblical Commission will hold its annual plenary assembly from 4 to 8 April in the Domus Sanctae Marthae, Vatican City, to be chaired by Cardinal Gerhard Ludwig Müller. The Rev. Fr. Pietro Bovati, S.J., general secretary, will guide the assembly in its work.

Following the publication of the document "Inspiration and truth of Sacred Scripture. The Word that comes from God and speaks of God for the Salvation of the World" (Vatican Publishing House 2014), the Commission embarked on an examination of various themes of biblical anthropology.
