Meeting with some of the new Cardinals, Friday 6 and Saturday 7 December 2024

Accredited journalists are invited to a meeting at the Holy See Press Office tomorrow, Friday 6 and on Saturday 7 December 2024, from 10.00 to 12.00, with some of the new Cardinals who will be created during the Ordinary Public Consistory to be presided over by the Holy Father Francis in Saint Peter’s Basilica on Saturday 7 December at 16.00.

The following is a list of the Cardinals whose presence is confirmed:

Friday 6 December:

- Archbishop Vicente Bokalic Iglic, C.M.

- Archbishop Natalio Chomalí Garib

- Archbishop Ignace Bessi Dogbo

- Archbishop Rolandas Makrickas

- Bishop Mykola Bychok, C.Ss.R

- Fr. Timothy Peter Joseph Radcliffe, O.P.

Saturday 7 December

- Archbishop Ladislav Nemet, S.V.D

- Archbishop Jaime Spengler, O.F.M

- Archbishop Jean-Paul Vesco, O.P.

Accreditation and participation procedure

Journalists and media operators who wish to participate must apply, no later than 24 hours before the event, via the Holy See Press Office online accreditation system, at https://press.vatican.va/accreditamenti, selecting the event: Incontro con alcuni dei nuovi cardinali - Interviste.

Journalists and media operators admitted to the event will receive confirmation of participation via the online accreditation system.
