Visit of the Cardinal Prefect in Romania

The prefect of the Congregation for the Eastern Churches, Cardinal Leonardo Sandri, will travel to Romania from 1 to 5 June 2022 to meet with the Romanian Greek Catholic Major Archdiocesan Church and its pastors, and to express gratitude for what is being done to welcome refugees from the conflict in Ukraine, in agreement with the rest of the Romanian Episcopate and the Authorities of the country.

Cardinal Sandri will be accompanied on site by Archbishop Miguel Maury Buendía, apostolic nuncio in Bucharest.
