The Holy Father has appointed the distinguished Professor Roberto Sanchez Mariano as member of the Board of the Financial Supervision and Information Authority (ASIF).

Beginning of mandate

The Holy Father, having accepted the resignation presented by Bishop Marcelo Sánchez Sorondo, has decided that His Eminence Cardinal Peter Kodwo Appiah Turkson, chancellor of the Pontifical Academy of Sciences and the Pontifical Academy of Social Sciences, shall assume office on 6 June 2022, the Monday following the Solemnity of Pentecost.
