NOTIFICATION
INTERMENT OF THE COFFIN
OF THE ROMAN PONTIFF FRANCIS
On Saturday 26 April 2025, at the end of the funeral Holy Mass, the coffin of the Roman Pontiff Francis will be accompanied to the Papal Basilica of Saint Mary Major for interment.
His Eminence Cardinal Kevin Joseph Farrell, Camerlengo of the Holy Roman Church, will preside over the rite provided for in the Ordo Exsequiarum Romani Pontificis (nos. 110-123).
The following are therefore required to take part in the celebration:
