This morning the Holy Father received in audience:

- His Excellency Mr. Seyed Taha Hashemi, ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Holy See;

- His Excellency Archbishop Silvano Maria Tomasi, C.S., of the titular see of Asolo, apostolic nuncio;

- His Excellency Bishop Antoine Hérouard, of the titular see of Maillezais, auxiliary of Lille, France, apostolic delegate “ad nutum Sanctae Sedis” for the Shrine of Lourdes.

Today the Pope will receive in audience:

- The Reverend Father Joachim Welz, superior general of the Canons Regular of the Holy Cross;

- Community of the Jesuits of the Vatican Observatory of Castel Gandolfo.
