Appointment of auxiliary of Santa Rosa, Argentina
The Pope has appointed as auxiliary bishop of Santa Rosa, Argentina, the Rev. Luis Dario Martín, of the clergy of the archdiocese of Buenos Aires, assigning him the titular see of Bisenzio.
Rev. Luis Dario Martín
The Rev. Luis Dario Martín was born in General Pico, diocese of Santa Rosa, on 4 March 1961. He transferred to Buenos Aires where he studied philosophy and theology in the seminary of Buenos Aires.
On 17 March 1990 he was ordained a priest for the archdiocese of Buenos Aires.
Since priestly ordination he has served as: parish vicar of three parishes in Buenos Aires, parish administrator of the Corpus Domini parish, dean and member of the presbyteral council and president of the Board of Schools of the archdiocese of Buenos Aires.
Since 2001 he has served as parish priest of the Nuestra Señora de Luján de los Patriotas parish.
