On Thursday 17 January 2019, at 11.00, in the Holy See Press Office, Via della Conciliazione 54, there will be a “Meeting Point” with journalists for the presentation of two documents from the Migrants and Refugees Section of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development:
1. (Pastoral Orientations on Human Trafficking).
This document, the fruit of a process of consultation with the Episcopal Conferences, Catholic organizations and religious congregations, presents a series of pastoral orientations with the aim of understanding, recognizing, preventing and combating the scourge of human trafficking, protecting the victims and promoting the rehabilitation of survivors.
2. «Luci sulle Strade della Speranza» - Insegnamenti di Papa Francesco su migranti, rifugiati e tratta (“Lights on the Path of Hope” – Teachings of Pope Francis on migrants, refugees and trafficking)
The book is a collection of the teachings of Pope Francis on migrants, refugees and trafficking from the beginning of his papacy to the end of 2017. It is combined with an electronic version with a search program, available on the website of the Section, which is updated regularly every six months, including new pontifical teachings.
