The Holy Father has appointed His Eminence Cardinal Sérgio da Rocha, archbishop of Brasilia and president of the Episcopal Conference of Brazill, as relator general of the Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops

The Pope has appointed as special secretaries of the 15th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops the Rev. Fathers Giacomo Costa, S.J., and Rossano Sala, S.D.B.

The 15th Ordinary General Assembly of the Synod of Bishops on the theme “The young, faith and vocational discernment” will begin on Wednesday 3 October 2018 and will end on Sunday 28 October 2018.
