- Bishop Ronald Austin Mulkearns, emeritus of Ballarat, Australia, on 4 April at the age of 85.
- Archbishop Jaime Pedro Gonçalves, emeritus of Beira, Mozambique, on 6 April at the age of 79.
- Bishop Lucas Martínez Lara of Matehuala, San Luís Potosí, México, on 9 April at the age of 73 .
- Archbishop Thomas Kwaku Mensah, emeritus of Kumasi, Ghana, el 10 de April at the age of 81.
- Bishop André Mayamba Mabuti Kathongo, emeritus of Popokabaka, Democratic Republic of Congo, on 12 April at the age of 85.
- Bishop Matthias Joseph Isuja, emeritus of Dodoma, Tanzania, on 13 April at the age of 86.
- Bishop Luis Horacio Gomez González ,apostolic vicar emeritus of Puerto Gaitán, Colombia, on 17 April at the age of 57.
- Archbishop Rubén Héctor di Monte, emeritus of Mercedes-Luján, Argentina, on 18 April at the age of 84.
- Bishop John Steven Satterthwaite, emeritus of Lismore, Australia, on 23 April at the age of 87.
- Archbishop Paul Hisao Yasuda, emeritus of Osaka, Japan, on 23 April, at the age of 94.
- Bishop Vincent Matthew Darius, O.P. , of Saint George’s in Grenada, Granada, on 26 April at the age of 60.
