Salida de Yaundé y ceremonia de despedida

A las 12:00 horas, el Santo Padre llegó al Aeropuerto Internacional de Yaundé-Nsimalen para la ceremonia de despedida de Camerún, donde fue recibido por el primer ministro de Camerún, S. E. el Sr. Joseph Dion Ngute.

Tras la interpretación de los himnos, el homenaje a las banderas, el paso de la Guardia de Honor y el saludo de las respectivas delegaciones, el Papa León XIV subió a bordo de un Airbus A330-900neo de ITA Airways y partió a las 12:47 hora local con destino a Angola.

El aterrizaje en el Aeropuerto Internacional de Luanda tuvo lugar a las 14:45 hora local.
