SATURDAY 8 NOVEMBER, JUBILEE OF THE WORLD OF WORK
(Vatican City, 06/11/2025) – On Saturday 8 November 2025, the Jubilee of the World will be held in Rome.
The event, as is known, should have taken place from 1 to 4 May, but unfortunately, due to the passing of the Holy Father Francis, it was cancelled. Following the many requests received, the Dicastery has decided to dedicate a new Jubilee day to the world of work, to take place this coming 8 November.
Approximately 10,000 pilgrims are expected to participate, representing all the labour associations and federations and those of the voluntary sector.
The programme of the event includes participation in the Jubilee Audience with the Holy Father Leo XIV in Saint Peter’s Square, at 9.30, to be followed by the possibility of crossing the Holy Door of the Basilica.
The Dicastery is gratefuly to CNEL for promoting the invitation to all intermediate bodies to participate in the meeting with Pope Leo on 8 November for the celebration of the Jubilee of the World of Work.
