Resignation and appointment of bishop of the eparchy of Bratislava for Catholics of Byzantine rite, Slovakia

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the eparchy of Bratislava for Catholics of Byzantine rite, Slovakia, presented by Bishop Peter Rusnák.

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Milan Lach, S.J., until now titular of Ostracine and auxiliary of the eparchy of Bratislava for Catholics of Byzantine rite, Slovakia, as bishop of the same ecclesiastical circumscription, and apostolic visitator for Slovak Greek-Catholic faithful resident in Western Europe.
