Appointment of apostolic nuncio to the Republic of the Congo

The Holy Father has appointed the Revrend Msgr. Relwendé Kisito Ouédraogo, until now official of the Section for General Affairs of the Secretariat of State, as apostolic nuncio to the Republic of the Congo, at the same time elevating him to the titular see of Ilta, with the dignity of Archbishop.

Curriculum vitae

Archbishop-elect Relwendé Kisito Ouédraogo was born in Gourcy, Burkina Faso, on 9 April 1972. He was ordained a priest on 13 December 2000, and incardinated in the diocese of Ouahigouya. He graduated in liturgy. He began his service in the Section for General Affairs of the Secretariat of State on 11 January 2010. He knows French, English, Italian and German.
