NOTIFICATION

EUCHARISTIC CELEBRATION AND CANONIZATION

19 OCTOBER 2025

PAPAL CHAPEL

On 19 October 2025, 29th Sunday of Ordinary Time, at 10.30, on the parvis of Saint Peter’s Basilica, the Holy Father Leo XIV will preside over the Eucharistic Celebration and Rite of Canonization of Blesseds:

Ignatius Maloyan,

Peter To Rot,

Vincenza Maria Poloni,

María Carmen Rendiles Martínez,

Maria Troncatti,

José Gregorio Hernández Cisneros

and Bartolo Longo.

The following may concelebrate with the Holy Father:

- The Patriarchs and Cardinals, who are requested to be present by 9.45 in the Chapel of Saint Sebastian, bringing with them their white damask mitre;

- The Archbishops and Bishops, having obtained the relevant ticket from this Office by 15 October via the procedure indicated at https://biglietti.liturgiepontificie.va, who are requested to be present by 9.30 at the Braccio di Costantino, bringing with them their amice, alb, cincture and simple white mitre;

- The Presbyters, having obtained the relevant ticket from this Office by 15 October via the procedure indicated at https://biglietti.liturgiepontificie.va, who are requested to be present by 9.00 in the area reserved for them in Saint Peter’s Square, where they will put on the amice, alb, cincture and white stole brought with them.

In accordance with the Motu Proprio “Pontificalis Domus”, the members of the Papal Chapel who wish to participate in the liturgical celebration without concelebrating must obtain the Notification, to be requested at celebrazioni@celebra.va by 15 October. They are all required to wear their own choral habit and to be present on the parvis of the Basilica by 10.00, in order to take the place to be indicated to them by the Pontifical Masters of Ceremonies.
