This morning, in the Vatican Apostolic Palace, the Holy Father Leo XIV received in audience the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Bahrain, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, who subsequently met with His Eminence Cardinal Pietro Parolin, Secretary of State, accompanied by Monsignor Mirosław Stanisław Wachowski.

During the cordial talks, held at the Secretariat of State, satisfaction was expressed for the good bilateral relations, with agreement on the desire to strengthen them further. Attention then turned to Kingdom of Bahrain’s policy of promoting interreligious dialogue and peaceful coexistence between the different religions in the Kingdom.

In addition, several issues of common interest were touched upon, such as the urgent need to end the war in the Middle East, and the commitment to peace among nations.
