In recent days, having reached the age limits set for the Vatican judiciary, Dr. Giuseppe Pignatone resigned as president of Vatican City State Tribunal. Thanking him for his service over the years, yesterday afternoon Pope Francis accepted his resignation as of 31 December 2024.
