On Monday 28 October 2024, at 10.30, a press conference will be held in the Holy See Press Office, Via della Concilizione 54, to present the cultural events, concerts and exhibitions scheduled to take place in Rome before the official opening of the Jubilee, this coming 24 December, and the Holy See Pavilion at Expo Osaka 2025.

The speakers will be:

Archbishop Rino Fisichella, pro-prefect of the Dicastery for Evangelization, Section for Fundamental Questions regarding Evangelization in the World;

Dr. Barbara Jatta, director of the Vatican Museums;

Dr. Davide Mambriani, curator of the “Jubilee and Culture” programme, for concerts and exhibitions.

The press conference will be livestreamed in the original language on the Vatican News YouTube channel at https://www.youtube.com/c/VaticanNews.

Both by connecting to the respective Vatican News linguistic channels on YouTube and by using the virtual participation platform, it is possible to access the simultaneous translation channels to listen to the press conference in ItalianEnglish and Spanish.

On Tuesday 29 October 2024, at 12.00, a press conference will be held in the Holy See Press Office, Via della Conciliazione 54, to present the first Annual Report on Church Policies and Procedures for Protection of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors.

The speakers will be:

His Eminence Cardinal Seán Patrick O’Malley, O.F.M. Cap., metropolitan archbishop of Boston, United States of America; chair of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors;

Maud de Boer-Buquicchio, jurist, in charge of the Annual Report.

The following will be present:

Bishop Luis Manuel Alí Herrera, auxiliary of Bogotá, secretary of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors;

Teresa Morris Kettelkamp, assistant secretary of the Pontifical Commission for the Protection of Minors;

Juan Carlos Cruz, promoter of the rights of survivors of clerical abuse worldwide, communication consultant;

Sr. Niluka Perera, of the Congregation of Our Lady of Charity of the Good Shepherd, coordinator of Catholic Care for Children International (CCCI).
