Pope Francis has accepted the request of His Excellency Bishop Paskalis Bruno Syukur of Bogor, Indonesia, not to be created Cardinal in the upcoming Consistory. His Excellency’s request is motivated by his wish to grow further in priestly life, in the service of the Church and the people of God.
