ORDINARY PUBLIC CONSISTORY

FOR THE VOTE ON CAUSES FOR CANONIZATION

On Monday 1 July, at 9.00, in the Consistory Hall of the Vatican Apostolic Palace, the Holy Father Francis will preside over the celebration of Terces and the Ordinary Public Consistory for the canonization of the Blesseds:

- Manuel Ruiz López and seven companions, of the Order of Friars Minor, and Francis, Abdel Moati and Raphael Massabki, lay faithful, martyrs;

- Giuseppe Allamano, priest, founder of the Institute of Consolata Missionaries and the Consolata Missionary Sisters;

- Marie-Léonie Paradis (née Virginie Alodie), founder of the Congregation of the Little Sisters of the Holy Family;

- Elena Guerra, founder of the Congregation of the Oblates of the Holy Spirit, known as the “Sisters of Saint Zita”;

- Carlo Acutis, lay faithful.

The Cardinals resident or present in Rome on the day of the Consistory are requested to be present by 8.30 in the Consistory Hall of the Apostolic Palace, wearing their choral habit.
