The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Vasai, India, presented by Bishop Felix Anthony Machado.

The Holy Father has appointed Msgr. Joseph Caddy, of the clergy of the metropolitan archdiocese of Melbourne, until now vicar general of the same archdiocese and parish priest of Saint Carthage, Parkville.
Curriculum vitae
Msgr. Joseph Caddy was born on 14 January 1960. He carried out his ecclesiastical studies at Corpus Christi Seminary in Melbourne, and was awarded a licentiate in social sciences from the Pontifical Gregorian University of Rome.
He was ordained a priest on 25 August 1990 for the archdiocese of Melbourne.
He has held the following offices: parish priest of Our Lady of Perpetual Help, Maidstone (1990-1993), prisons chaplain, Victoria (2002-2013), administrator of Catholic Care of the archdiocese (2004-2017), parish priest of All Saints, Fitzroy (2014-2016) and of Saint Mary, Saint Kilda East (2016-2019), episcopal vicar for social services (since 2016), vicar general (since 2019), and parish priest of Saint Carthage, Parkville (since 2021).
Appointment of coadjutor bishop of Šiauliai, Lithuania
The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Darius Trijonis as coadjutor of Šiauliai, Lithuania, transferring him from the titular see of Fissiana and the office of auxiliary bishop of the archdiocese of Vilnius.
Curriculum vitae
Bishop Darius Trijonis was born on 21 April 1973 in Telšiai. He attended the diocesan seminary and was ordained a priest on 18 May 1997 for the diocese of Telšiai.
After receiving a licentiate in theology from the Pontifical Lateran University of Rome (1997-1999), he held the roles of prefect and teacher in the diocesan seminary (1999-2002). He was awarded a doctorate in moral theology from the Pontifical Alphonsian Academy, Rome (2002-2006), and went on to serve as vice rector and teacher at the seminary (2005-2007), teacher of catechetics at Klaipeda University (2006), prefect of studies of the diocesan seminary (2007-2008), parish priest of Holy Family, Plikai (2008), and under-secretary of the Episcopal Conference of Lithuania (2010-2015). In 2015 he was appointed administrator of the Cathedral of Telšiai.
On 29 September 2017 he was elected titular bishop of Fissiana and auxiliary of the archdiocese of Vilnius, receiving episcopal consecration the following 16 December.
