On Monday 12 February 2024, at 12.00, at the Holy See Press Office, Sala San Pio X, Via dell’Ospedale 1, a press conference will be held to present the General Assembly of the Pontifical Academy for life, on the theme “Human. Meanings and Challenges”, to take place from 12 to 14 February at the Conference Centre of the Augustinianum.

The speakers will be:

- Archbishop Vincenzo Paglia, president of the Pontifical Academy for Life;

- Msgr. Renzo Pegoraro, chancellor of the Pontifical Academy for Life;

- Professor Mariana Mazzucato, Institute for Innovation and Public Purpose (IIPP), University College London, and full professor;

- Professor Jim Al-Khalili, School of Mathematics and Physics, University of Surrey, Guildford, United Kingdom.
