This afternoon, in the Lourdes Grotto in the Vatican Gardens, the Holy Father Francis presided over the Eucharistic Celebration for the Gendarmerie Corps of Vatican City State, on the occasion of the liturgical memorial of Saint Michael Archangel, patron and protector of the Italian State Police and the Gendarmerie Corps of Vatican City State, commemorated on 29 September.
