- His Eminence Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi, archbishop of Bologna, Italy, president of the Italian Episcopal Conference, with the members of the presidency of the same Episcopal Conference;

- His Eminence Cardinal Mario Grech, secretary general of the General Secretariat of the Synod, with the special secretaries of the Synod: the Reverend Giacomo Costa, S.J., and the Reverend Riccardo Battocchio;

- The Reverend Don Simone Bruno, editorial director of the San Paolo Edizioni publishing house;

- Professor Luigino Bruni.
