Today, 19 July 2023, the necessary procedure for the entry into force of the Supplementary Agreement to the Agreement between the Holy See and Kazakhstan on Mutual Relations of 24 September 1998, signed in Nur-Sultan, Kazakhstan, on 14 September 2022, was completed. This agreement facilitates the acquisition of a stay permit in Kazakhstan by pastoral workers.

Pursuant to Article 8 of the Supplementary Agreement, the latter therefore comes into effect on today’s date.
