The 53rd International Eucharistic Congress (IEC2024) will take place in Quito, Ecuador, from 8 to 15 September 2024, and will culminate in the celebration of the “statio orbis”, concluding the event.
The theme of the Congress, “Fraternidad para sanar el mundo”, is inspired by the Gospel phrase “You are all brothers” (Mt 23:8), and recalls the current synodal experience of the Church, called to become a fraternal place of inclusion, shared belonging and profound hospitality.
On 10 May, the logo and official anthem of the Congress were presented at the headquarters of the Ecuadorian Episcopal Conference.
