On Friday 16 December 2022, at 10.00, at the Holy See Press Office – San Pio X Hall, Via dell’Ospedale 1 - a meeting will be held for the presentation of the Holy Father Francis’ Message for the 56th World Day of Peace, on the theme: “No-one is saved by themselves. Restarting from Covid-19 to chart paths of peace together”, to be held on 1 January 2023.
The speakers will be:
- His Eminence Cardinal Michael Czerny, S.J., prefect of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development;
- Sr. Alessandra Smerilli, F.M.A., secretary of the Dicastery for Promoting Integral Human Development;
- Dr. Maximo Torero, chief economist of the United Nations Food and Agriculture Organization (FAO), who will send a video message;
- Mr. Simone Cristicchi, singer-songwriter, author, director and theatre actor, who will perform a piece from his musical repertoire.
At the end of the brief presentation, the guests present will be available for interview by the press.
