This afternoon the work of the Meeting of Cardinals on the new Apostolic Constitution Praedicate Evangelium came to an end. The meeting with the Holy Father, which took place in a fraternal atmosphere, was attended by just under two hundred Cardinals, Eastern Patriarchs and Superiors of the Secretariat of State. The work in language groups and the plenary discussions provided an opportunity for free exchange on many aspects of the Document and the life of the Church, while the last session this afternoon was dedicated to the Jubilee of Hope 2025. With the celebration of Holy Mass, presided over by Pope Francis in the Vatican Basilica, the assembly will be dissolved and each participant will return to his own diocese.
