The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Bruno Valentin, until now auxiliary of Versailles, as coadjutor bishop of the diocese of Carcassonne et Narbonne, France.
Curriculum vitae
Bishop Bruno Valentin was born on 22 January 1972 in Nancy in the diocese of the same name. After his secondary studies he was awarded a licentiate in economic sciences at the University Paris IV – Dauphine.
He entered the Versailles Seminary and, in 1995, was sent to the Pontifical French Seminary of Rome to carry out his ecclesiastical studies at the Pontifical Gregorian University, obtaining a degree in theology in 2021, specializing in ecclesiology.
He was ordained a priest on 29 June 2000 and incardinated in the diocese of Versailles.
He has held the following offices: parish vicar of Trappes and diocesan delegate for pastoral care of young adults (2001-2004); parish priest of Chatou (2004-2012); head of the diocesan service for formation (2007-2012); dean of Le Vésinet (2007-2010); parish priest of Montigny and of Voisins-le-Bretonneux, episcopal vicar of the deanery of Rambouillet and member of the Episcopal Council (2012-2018); episcopal vicar of the deanery of Maule-Montfort-Houdan (2013-2018); diocesan delegate of the Œuvre des Campagnes (2014-2018); and episcopal vicar of the deanery of Saint-Quentin (2015-2018).
On 14 December 2018 he was appointed as titular bishop of Vaison and auxiliary of Versailles. He received episcopal consecration the following 20 January. To date he has also served as vicar general of the diocese of Versailles. Within the French Bishops’ Conference he is a member of the Council for the Universal Mission of the Church.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Pierre Suon Hangly of the clergy of Phnom-Penh, until now vicar delegate of Phnom-Penh, as prefect apostolic.
Curriculum vitae
The Reverend Pierre Suon Hangly was born on 14 April 1972 in Phnom-Penh.
He was ordained a priest on 9 December 2001.
From 2001 to 2007 he was parish priest. From 2007 to 2015 he studied at the Institut Catholique de Paris, where he was awarded a bachelor’s degree and a licentiate in spiritual theology, and subsequently returned to Cambodia. From 2017 to the present, he has been delegate vicar of the apostolic vicariate of Phnom-Penh.

The Holy Father has appointed the distinguished Dr. Francesco Nunzio, until now office head at the Secretariat for the Economy, as deputy director of the Pension Funds Office.
