Resignation and appointment of bishop of Tarazona, Spain

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Tarazona, Spain, presented by Bishop Eusebio Hernández Sola, O.A.R.

The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Vicente Rebollo Mozos, of the clergy of the archdiocese of Burgos, episcopal vicar for economic affairs, as bishop of Tarazona.

Curriculum vitae

Msgr. Vicente Rebollo Mozos was born on 15 April 1964 in Revilla Vallejera, in the archdiocese of Burgos. He attended the major seminary of Burgos and was awarded a licentiate in theology from the Faculty of Theology of Northern Spain, Burgos. In 2006 he obtained a licentiate in business sciences from the University of Burgos and, in 2011, a master’s degree in economics.

He was ordained a priest on 13 August 1988. He has held the following offices: parish vicar of San Pablo (1988-1996), parish priest of Canicosa de la Sierra and Regumiel de la Sierra (1996-1999), parish priest of Tardajos, Rebé de los Calzados y Villarmentero (1999-2014), dean of San Juan de Ortega (2005-2008) and diocesan bursar (2007-2016).

Since 2012, he has served as dean of the Cathedral Chapter and, since 2014, canon. In addition, since 2016 he has been episcopal vicar for economic affairs.

 

Appointment of auxiliary bishop of Zielona Góra-Gorzów, Poland

The Holy Father has appointed as auxiliary bishop of the diocese of Zielona Góra-Gorzów, Poland, the Reverend Adrian Put, of the clergy of the same diocese, parish priest of Saint Hedwig of Silesia in Zielona Góra, assigning him the titular see of Furnos minor.

Curriculum vitae

Msgr. Adrian Put was born on 4 November 1978 in Szczecin, Poland. He carried out his studies in philosophy and theology at the diocesan seminary of Gościkowo-Paradyż. He was ordained a priest on 22 May 2004 for the diocese of Zielona Góra-Gorzów. He was awarded a doctorate in Church history from the Faculty of Theology of the University of Szczecin.

He has held the following ministerial offices: vicar in the parish of the Visitation of Mary in Lubsko (2004-2007) and in the parish of the Polish Protomartyrs in Gorzów (2007-2011), editor of the diocesan weekly “Niedziela” and Youth Leader of the “Light-Life” Movement (2011-2015); parish priest of Saint Stanislaus Kostka in Zielona Góra and diocesan moderator of the “Light-Life” Movement (2015).

Since 2017 he has been a member of the diocesan pastoral council and director of the diocesan Catechumenal Centre. Since 2021 he has been canon of the Collegiate Chapter of Zielona Góra and parish priest of Saint Hedwig of Silesia in Zielona Góra.
