Resignation and appointment of bishop of Tshumba, Democratic Republic of the Congo

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Tshumba, Democratic Republic of the Congo, presented by Bishop Nicolas Djomo Lola.

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Vincent Tshomba Shamba Kotsho, until now titular of Esco and auxiliary of the metropolitan archdiocese of Kinshasa, as bishop of the diocese of Tshumba.

 

Appointment of bishop of Kisantu, Democratic Republic of the Congo

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Jean-Crispin Kimbeni Ki Kanda, until now titular of Dragonara and auxiliary of the metropolitan archdiocese of Kinshasa, as bishop of the diocese of Kisantu, Democratic Republic of the Congo.

Giacomo Incitti, referendary of the Supreme Tribunal of the Apostolic Signatura; Fr. Franco Magnani, lecturer at the Institute of Pastoral Liturgy in Padua, Italy; Fr. Pietro Angelo Muroni, dean of the Faculty of Theology at the Pontifical Urban University of Rome, Italy; Fr. Paul Turner, director of the Liturgical Office of the diocese of Kansas City – Saint Joseph, United States of America; Fr. Dario Vitali, lecturer at the Pontifical Gregorian University in Rome, Italy; Fr. Dieter Böhler, S.J., lecturer at the Philosophisch-Theologische Hochschule Sankt Georgen in Frankfurt am Main, Germany; Fr. The Holy Father has appointed the distinguished Professor Mariella Magnani, professor emeritus of the University of Padua, and the distinguished Professor Francesco Saverio Marini, ordinary professor at the University of Rome Tor Vergata, as applied judges of Vatican City State Tribunal.
