Appointment of President of the Italian Episcopal Conference

The Holy Father, in accordance with Art. 26 § 1 of the Statute of the Italian Episcopal Conference, has appointed His Eminence Cardinal Matteo Maria Zuppi, archbishop of Bologna, as president of the same Italian Episcopal Conference.
