The Holy Father has appointed the Reverend Fabián González Balsa, of the clergy of the metropolitan archdiocese of Buenos Aires, until now parish priest of San José in Las Heras, as auxiliary of the diocese of Río Gallegos, Argentina, assigning him the titular see of Mascliane.

Curriculum vitae

Msgr. Fabián González Balsa was born on 17 August 1968 in Buenos Aires. He entered the metropolitan seminary of the same city, where he carried out his studies in philosophy and theology at the Faculty of Theology of the Pontifical Argentine Catholic University, obtaining a bachelor’s degree.

He was ordained a priest on 26 November 1994.

He has held the following offices: professor of theology, parish vicar of various parishes and parish priest of Cristo Rey and Santa María de los Ángeles in Buenos Aires. In 2009 he was a fidei donum priest in the diocese of Río Gallegos. From 2019 to the present, he has been parish priest of San José in Las Heras, and dean.
