Resignation and appointment of bishop of Nnewi, Nigeria

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Nnewi, Nigeria, presented by Bishop Hilary Paul Odili Okeke.

The Holy Father has appointed Bishop Jonas Benson Okoye, until now titular of Mascliane and auxiliary of Awka, as bishop of the same diocese.
