- His Eminence Cardinal Jean-Claude Höllerich, S.J., archbishop of Luxembourg, president of the Commission of Episcopates of the European Union (COMECE);

- His Eminence Cardinal Antonio María Rouco Varela, archbishop emeritus of Madrid, Spain;

- Bishop Bertam Johannes Meier of Augsburg, Federal Republic of Germany.

Today the Pope will receive in audience:
