The following is the telegram of condolences for the death yesterday of His Eminence Cardinal Prosper Grech, O.S.A., of the deaconry of Santa Maria Goretti, lecturer emeritus of various Roman universities and consultor of the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith, sent by the Holy Father to the prior general of the Order of Saint Augustine, the Reverend Father Alejandro Moral Antón.

HAVING HEARD THE NEWS OF THE PIOUS PASSING OF THE VENERABLE CARDINAL PROSPER GRECH, I WISH TO EXPRESS MY CONDOLENCES TO YOU, TO THE ENTIRE AUGUSTINIAN ORDER AND TO THE FAMILY OF THE DEAR CARDINAL, WHOM I HAVE ALWAYS HELD IN GREAT ESTEEM BOTH FOR HIS PERSONAL WITNESS TO CHRISTIAN AND CONSECRATED LIFE AND FOR HIS EXEMPLARY SERVICE TO THE FORMATION OF THE NEW GENERATIONS, ESPECIALLY PRIESTS.
