At 10:30 this morning, the Holy Father Francis received in audience His Excellency Mr. Jorge Mario Eastman Robledo, ambassador of Colombia to the Holy See, for the presentation of his Credential Letters.

Ambassador of Colombia to the Holy See
Mr. Eastman Robledo was born on 5 February 1967 in Bogotá. He is married.
He graduated in law from the Universidad de los Andes, Bogotá, and also holds a Master's degree in international relations from Columbia University, New York.
He has held, among others, the following positions: constitutional advisor, Ministry of Government (1990-1992); presidential advisor for the Modernisation of the State (1994-1996); founder and director of Special Programs for the Millennium Center (Think Tank) (1996-1998); deputy Minister of Internal Affairs (1998-2000); private secretary to the President (2000); deputy High Commissioner for Peace in Colombia (2001); special advisor to the Secretary General of the OAS (Organization of American States, Washington D..C.) (2001-2004); strategic communications advisor to the Presidency (2006-2009); deputy Minister of Defence (2004-2006 and 2010); expert advisor on strategic communications, public affairs and social responsibility, Eastman Consultores (since 2010); secretary general to the Presidency (since 2018).
