Resignation of bishop of Maracay, Venezuela, and appointment of successor
The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the diocese of Maracay, Venezuela, presented by H.E. Msgr. Rafael Ramón Conde Alfonzo.
The Pope has appointed as bishop of Maracay, Venezuela, H.E. Msgr. Enrique José Parravano Marino, S.D.B., currently titular bishop of Isola and auxiliary of Caracas, Venezuela.
H.E. Msgr. Enrique José Parravano Marino, S.D.B., was born in Turmero, diocese of Maracay, on 8 November 1955. He carried out his philosophical and theological studies at the Instituto Teológico São Paulo – ITESP (Brazil). He specialized in Docencia en Educación Integral at the Instituto Pedagico Msgr. Arias Blanco, IUPMA, in Caracas, Venezuela.
He gave his perpetual vows in the Salesian Society of Saint John Bosco on 30 August 1980, and received priestly ordination on 14 January 1984.
As a priest he has held the following offices: chaplain of the Pius XII College in Puerto La Cruz, superior and director of the Collegio San Luis in Mérida, superior of the Salesian Community and parish priest of the María Auxiliadora parish in Caracas, archpriest of La California in Caracas, provincial bursar of the Salesian Province in Caracas and parish priest of the San Juan Bosco parish in Altamira.
On 27 April 2016 he was appointed as titular bishop of Isola and auxiliary of Caracas, Venezuela, and received episcopal ordination the following 9 July.
Appointment of coadjutor bishop of Añatuya, Argentina
The Holy Father has appointed the Rev. Fr. José Luis Corral, S.V.D., currently provincial superior for South Argentina, as coadjutor bishop of the diocese of Añatuya, Argentina.
The Rev. Fr. José Luis Corral, S.V.D., was born in Córdoba on 12 August 1968. He entered the Society of the Divine Word in 1987 and gave his first vows on 20 February 1989 and his perpetual vows in 1996. He carried out his ecclesiastical studies at the Centro de Estudios Filosóficos y Teológicos Santo Toribio de Mogrovejo of the Claretian Missionaries. He obtained a licentiate in religious science from the Catholic University of Córdoba.
He was ordained a priest on 1 March 1997.
He was parish priest of the Nuestra Señora de los Dolores parish in Tumbaya; formator of postulants and master of novices of the Society of the Divine Word; and from 2005 to 2007, provincial counsellor. From 2008 to 2011 he worked in the San Isidro in Maracaibo parish, Venezuela, and from 2011 to 2013 he was master of novices of the Noviciato Latinoamericano in Asunción, Paraguay. He is currently provincial superior of the Society of the Divine Word for South Argentina.

The Holy Father has appointed as prelate auditor of the Tribunal of the Roman Rota the Rev. Msgr. Robert Gołębiowski, of the clergy of the diocese of Radom, currently defender of the bond at the same Tribunal of the Roman Rota.
