Resignation of archbishop of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, and appointment of successor

The Holy Father has accepted the resignation from the pastoral care of the archdiocese of Port of Spain, Trinidad and Tobago, presented by H.E. Msgr. Joseph Harris, C.S.Sp.

The Pope has appointed as archbishop of the same See H.E. Msgr. Charles Jason Gordon, currently bishop of the diocese of Bridgetown, Barbados, who remains as apostolic administrator sede vacante et ad nutum Sanctae Sedis of the diocese of Bridgetown.
