On Friday 22 September 2017, at 11.00 in the Holy See Press Office, Via della Conciliazione 54, a press conference will be held for the presentation of the Pontifical Foundation Gravissimum educationis, constituted by Chirograph of the Holy Father Francis on 28 October 2015, and of the document “Educating in humanistic solidarity. Building a civilisation of love, 50 years on from Populorum progressio”, containing the framework for education in humanistic solidarity.

The document will then be sent to all the Episcopal Conferences so as to reach the 215,000 Catholic schools and 1,760 Catholic universities in the various continents.

The speakers in the Press Conference will be:

- His Eminence Cardinal Giuseppe Versaldi, prefect of the Congregation for Catholic Education;

- H.E. Msgr. Angelo Vincenzo Zani, secretary of the same Dicastery;

- Msgr. Guy-Réal Thivierge, general secretary of the Foundation Gravissimum educationis.
