The Holy Father Francis has accepted the request presented by His Eminence Cardinal Roger Etchegaray to be dispensed from the office of the Vice Dean of the College of Cardinals and approved the election, by the Cardinals and the Order of Bishops, of the new Vice Dean of the aforementioned College, of His Eminence Cardinal Giovanni Battista Re, of the title of the suburbicarian Church of Sabina-Poggio-Mirteto.
