After Holy Mass: Angelus and blessing of the first stones of the three new buildings of the diocese of Carpi: the parish of Sant’Agata in Carpi; the House of Spiritual Exercises of Sant’Antonio in Novi; the “Citadel of Charity” in Carpi.

13.00: Lunch at the Episcopal Seminary with the bishops of the region, elderly priests resident in the Clergy House, and seminarians.

15.00: Meeting with diocesan priests, men and women religious and seminarians in the Seminary Chapel

At the end of the meeting with the clergy, the Holy Father leaves the seminary and visits the Cathedral briefly.

Transfer by car to Mirandola

16.30: Visit to the Duomo of Mirandola

The Holy Father stops in the square in front of the entrance to the Duomo, still unaccessible following the earthquake. Address to the population affected by the earthquake.

In the area adjacent to the parish of San Giacomo Roncole of Mirandola, floral homage to the monument to earthquake victims.

17.30: Farewell greetings and departure from the sports field next to the parish of San Giacomo Roncole.
