The Holy See Press Office has announced that on the occasion of the centenary of the apparition of the Blessed Virgin Mary at the Cova da Iria, and in response to the invitation from the president of the Republic and the Portuguese bishops, His Holiness Pope Francis will make a pilgrimage to the shrine of Our Lady of Fatima from 12 to 13 May 2017.
