After today’s catechesis the Holy Father launched a fresh appeal for the troubled population of Aleppo, Syria.

“I continue to follow the dramatic news on the fate of the people of Aleppo, to whom I am united in suffering through prayer and spiritual closeness. In expressing my deep sorrow and concern about what is happening in this already afflicted city, I renew to all my appeal for the commitment of all efforts in the protection of civilians, as an imperative and urgent obligation”.
