Greetings to pilgrims from around the world, 08.06.2016
Vatican City, 8 June 2016 – In his greetings to pilgrims from various countries, the Pope mentioned, among others, French faithful from the diocese of Besançon, the International Confederation of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul, and the seminarians of the Prado, Lyon.
Among the Italians present, he greeted the members of the St. Francis Migrants' Association of Siena, the SOS Colonias group of children from Ostuni and UNITALSI Tuscany, as well as the International Association of Lasallian Universities, delegates of the Society of St. Vincent de Paul who are attending their general assembly, and the White Fathers gathered for their general chapter.
He also mentioned Portuguese-speaking pilgrims from Curitiba and a group of Brazilian magistrates, Slovakian nursing staff of the St. Luke Centre for the elderly in Košice, and priests from the German archdiocese of Paderborn, currently celebrating the 25th anniversary of their ordination.
