Vatican City, 25 April 2016 – The Holy Father has appointed:

- Fr. Pedro Collar Noguera as auxiliary of the diocese of Ciudad del Este (area 29,562, population 1,082,918, Catholics 957,611, priests 125, permanent deacons 2, religious 279), Paraguay. The bishop-elect was born in Juan León Mallorquín, Paraguay in 1963, and was ordained a priest in 1992. He holds a degree in canon law from the Argentine Catholic University in Buenos Aires. He has served as parish vicar, moderator of the clergy of the parish of the Cathedral of Ciudad del Este, parish priest of the Cathedral, judge of the ecclesiastical tribunal of appeal of Paraguay and diocesan chancellor. He is currently vicar general of the diocese.

- Fr. Paul Mason as auxiliary of the archdiocese of Southwark (area 4,596, population 4,578,000, Catholics 366,104, priests 403, permanent deacons 73, religious 582), England. The bishop-elect was born in North Shields, England in 1962 and was ordained a priest in 1998. He holds a bachelor's degree in European languages and institutions from Leeds Polytechnic, a degree in philosophy from the Pontifical Gregorian University, and a Master's degree in medical ethics from King's College, London. He has served in a number of pastoral roles, including chaplain of St. Thomas' and Guy's Hospitals in London, and has held various offices in the Episcopal Council. He is currently episcopal vicar for Kent and member of the Archbishop's Council.
