Vatican City, 5 April 2016 – The Office of Liturgical Celebrations of the Supreme Pontiff has published the following calendar of liturgical celebrations at which the Holy Father will preside in the months of April and May 2016:

APRIL

Sunday 17, Fourth Sunday of Easter: at 9.15 a.m. in the Vatican Basilica, priestly ordinations and Holy Mass.

Sunday 324, Fifth Sunday of Easter: at 10.30 a.m. in St. Peter's Square, Jubilee of Boys and Girls.

MAY

Thursday 5, Solemnity of the Ascension of the Lord: at 6 p.m. in the Vatican Basilica, prayer vigil to "Dry the tears".

Sunday 15: Sunday of Pentecost: at 10 a.m. in the Vatican Basilica, Holy Mass.

Thursday 26, Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ: at 7 p.m. in St. Peter's Square, Holy Mass, procession to the Basilica of St. Mary Major and Eucharistic blessing.

Sunday 29, Ninth Sunday of Ordinary Time: at 10.30 a.m. in St. Peter's Square, Jubilee of Deacons.
