Rispondendo alle domande dei giornalisti, il Direttore della Sala Stampa, Matteo Bruni, ha precisato quanto segue:

Durante l’Udienza Generale in Piazza San Pietro del 6 settembre scorso, Sua Santità Francesco ha salutato alcune persone presenti, come avviene di consueto. Tra di esse vi era anche un gruppo di iracheni con il Sig. Rayan Al-Kildani, con il quale c’è stato un breve saluto di circostanza.

خلال المقابلة العامّة التي جرت في ساحة القدّيس بطرس يوم 6 أيلول/سبتمبر، سَلَّمَ قداسة البابا فرنسيس كعادته على بعض الحاضرين. وكان بينهم أيضًا مجموعة من العراقيّين مع السيّد ريان الكلداني، الذي سَلَّمَ عليه سَلامًا قصيرًا بِحُكمِ وجودهِ مع المجموعة.

Communication to Journalists

In responding to journalists’ questions, the Director of the Holy See Press Office, Matteo Bruni, stated the following:

During the General Audience in Saint Peter’s Square on 6 September last, His Holiness Pope Francis greeted some of the people present, as is customary.  Among them was a group of Iraqis, which included Mr Rayan Al-Kildani, with whom some brief words were exchanged.
